Kenneth E. "Ken" Nissen, 50, of Livingston, Montana, passed away Sunday, December 11th, 2016 at his home with the love of his family by his side. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory, per Kens wishes a formal funeral service will not be held. Ken was born on September 25th, 1966, in Clovis, New Mexico. He was the son of Harold Kenneth and Patricia (Boyce) Nissen. In 1974 the family moved to Livingston. He received his education in Livingston, attending St. Marys Parochial School up to the eighth grade and was a graduate of the Park High School Class of 1985. Ken followed his school with a bit of the school of hard knocks. He roamed Park County fishing, hunting, riding his bike all through town, camping with his nephews and cruising the back roads. In his early 30s he was diagnosed with Huntingtons disease. He was well cared for by his mom and his sister Theresa who moved here in 2008 to take-over care for Ken as well as his sister Genny moved here in 2013 to care for him. He became a surrogate uncle to Sandy Waters-Beorj while she was caring for him. His niece Krysteena Walker was also a big part of his life during the time she cared for him. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his practical jokes and always being an all-around great guy. His sister Theresa remembers Ken taking her daughter on his bike for rides to Sacajawea Park, then trying to play the proud Uncle to pick-up girls. Ken will be dearly missed as he gave an ever-present since of comfort to his loved ones. Blessed be his memory. Ken is survived by his: mother, Patricia Nissan of Livingston. Sisters, Theresa (Phillip) McDowell of Livingston and Genny (David) Garza of Livingston. Nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, Allan (Savanna) Paul, their children Allison and Kade; Aaron Paul and his Fiance, Sharron Austin, their daughter, Alyea and his children, Gage Hunter and Jordan; Krysteena Walker; RJ Garcia; Sabreena Garcia; Gilbert Garcia; Josh (Misty) Paul, their children Nevaeh, Jamie and Tiffany. Aunts, uncle and many cousins in Cut Bank, MT. Ken is preceded in death by his: dad, Harold Nissen as well as his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.
