Linda Chambers Buettner passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Billings Clinic Hospital following recent illness, her son Chad was at her side. Linda was 69 years old.Linda was born in Livingston, Montana on April 26, 1951 to Robert Eddie "Bob" and Carol Lee (Cramm) Buettner, their first child. The family relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas where her parents opened and operated an A&W franchise. She grew-up in the family business starting at age 11 car hopping and other duties. She continued following the example her parents laid of hard work and fortitude her entire life. She graduated in 1969 from the Hot Springs High School. She would marry Charlie Chambers and Linda was blessed with a son, Charles Chad Chambers. Linda raised Chad from the age of 3 months as a single mother. They moved back to Livingston to be with her parents and she worked full-time and was a full-time mom. Linda would go to work at what is now First Interstate Bank retiring after a thirty-year career in 2015. She gave all she could caring for her parents in their last years. Linda, we thank you so much for what you did for mom and dad.Mom was a strong woman. She loved so deeply but knew how to put the hammer down if she needed. She knew how to make you laugh, she loved to reminisce telling stories about this and that. She loved to give gifts, giving happiness made her shine. She was the best grandma. Davyn was lucky to have her. We can not believe you are gone, but we were so lucky to of had you.Linda is survived by her son, Chad Chambers and his wife, Ashlee; her grandson Davyn; her brother, Craig Buettner and his wife, Shannon; nieces and nephews, Chad Buettner, Stephanie (Kelly) Radcliff, Haley (Mason) Sheppard; great-nieces and nephews, Arlo, Berlyn, and Aubrey Mae.A funeral service and celebration in honor of Lindas life will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 1:00P.M, at Mountain View Cemetery. Please meet at the Funeral Home by 12:45 P.M. to proceed to the cemetery. The family will be present beginning at noon to receive condolences.
