LoAnne C. Frisk

LoAnne Frisk, 76, of Livingston, passed away on Wednesday, March 20^th, 2024, at Livingston HealthCare Hospital.  In her final days she was surrounded by friends and family.

LoAnne was born LoAnne Carol Fox in Livingston on May 6^th, 1947, to Kenneth and Evelyn (Foyen) Fox.  She graduated from Park High School in 1965 and eventually married Jerry Frisk, who passed away in 1999.  

Professionally, LoAnne worked at numerous assisted-care facilities in the Livingston area.  These include the The Frontier Retirement Home, The Diamond-K Retirement Home, and the Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she specialized in the care of patients afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease.  Additionally, she was the secretary for the American Lutheran, Redeemer Lutheran, and Shields River Lutheran Churches.  In recent years LoAnne worked at the Livingston Warming Center.

In her personal life, LoAnne was a lifelong admirer of nature and wildlife.  She frequently camped and hiked with family, friends, or alone.  She particularly enjoyed monitoring Yellowstone wolves and followed the daily activities of various packs. She was a well-known figure in the esoteric wolf-watching community.

She graciously donated much of her to time to myriad animal welfare organizations.   These include The Stafford Animal Shelter, Livingston Spay/Neuter Project, and many more.  For the past decade she has been volunteering at Montana Grizzly Experience where she was a valued member of the team.

LoAnne is survived by her two sons, Jason (52) and Jim (49), as well as Cheeto the Chihuahua.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Livingston HealthCare for their excellent care in LoAnne’s final days.

A Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, March 28^th, 2024, at 10:00 AM.   It will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5^th & Lewis Streets, Livingston, Montana.
