Lois Fremont, 84 of Clyde Park, Montana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 26, 2015 at her home with her family at her side. The family lived in Colverton, MN before moving to Burnett County, WI, Blaine Twp. She received her education at the Lee School which was rural and only had three children in the entire school. Lois met Duane Fremont while attending church services at the Woodland Church. After three months of courting Lois L. Busby was united in marriage to Duane Fremont, on November 20, 1954, at Wesleyan Methodist Church in Marksville, MN. This marriage was blessed with six children, Craig, Mark, Dwight, Lauretta, Muriel and Marvin. Lois and Duane made their home in Danbury, WI where they started their lives together. They would travel to West Yellowstone, MT to work summer jobs and in 1959 they decided to make West Yellowstone their home. Duane worked as a logger and the family moved as his jobsites changed. They lived in Gallatin Gateway, Maudlow and then moved to Wilsall and lived on Daisy Dean Rd. for 38 years. They then, in October of 2013 they moved to Clyde Park to be closer to Craig and Tracy. They shared 60 years of marriage. Lois was a hardworking woman giving all she was able to her children. She was a devoted wife always standing by her husbands side. Lois enjoyed hunting, hiking, rock-hounding and exploring deserted ghost towns to see what treasures she may find. She was such a good shot that Duane had nicknamed her, "Annie Oakley", for her dead-eye marksmanship. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. Blessed be her memory. Lois is survived by her: loving Husband of 60 years, Duane Fremont of Clyde Park.
