Lorraine Wentz, 93, lifetime Park County resident, passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 after an extended illness. Lorraine was born July 30, 1923 at Willow Creek to Richard and Leona (Blake) Russell. After her parents divorced when Lorraine was around 3 years old, she and her mother moved to Illinois to care for her great-grandfather. They returned to Montana and her mother married Darius Baker. This union provided Lorraine with her dear brothers, Donald and Edwin. Lorraine attended Willow Creek School and graduated from Clyde Park High School. On February 11, 1950 Lorraine married Paul Wentz. They resided in Gardiner, then moved to Livingston, where they raised five children. They were married 42 years prior to Pauls passing. She is survived by her brother Donald (Jane) Baker, her five children: Donna (Bill) Hobart, Patricia (Steven) Waliser, Cynthia Jenks, Melody (Paul) Revell and Michael Wentz, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul and her brother, Edwin. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Hospice for their dedicated and caring service and Park County paramedics and emergency personnel for their professional and caring attention. Per Lorraines request, there will be no funeral, a wake will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, Lorraines wish is for donations to Stafford Animal Shelter, the Livingston Food Bank or the Senior Citizen Center.
