Louise H. Lillian (Hinman) Peck

Louise Lillian (Hinman) Peck, 92, of Gardiner, Montana, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Livingston Health and Rehabilitation. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. Memorials may be directed to the Stafford Animal Shelter. Louise was born in Hackensack, New Jersey. She attended high school in Bergen County New Jersey and attended secretarial school in New York City. On December 19, 1942 Louise was united in marriage to Wm L. "Bill" Peck. This marriage was blessed with two children, Wade and Russel Ann. Through the years they resided in New Jersey, North Carolina, Upstate New York, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. She and her husband later retired to Belleair Bluffs Florida. They shared 38 years of marriage. Louise worked as a secretary in New York City and briefly as a high school secretary outside of Rochester, New York. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In Florida Louise was very active in the Busy Bees of Belleair Bluffs, PEO and The Saint David Welsh Society of St. Petersburg, Florida and held many offices for those organizations. Louise was also active in a local Bridge Club. Louise enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, quilting and was a talented seamstress. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She avidly followed politics and current events. She generously donated to the Humane Society and other charitable organizations. She lives on in our fond memories. Louise is survived by her: daughter, Russel Ann Peck of Albuquerque, NM, her son, Wade Peck and daughter-in-law Anne of Gardiner, MT, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her sisters, April and Jane. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
