Margaret Clare "Marge" Blasey, 74, of Livingston, Montana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 12, 2021 from Alzheimer's disease. A Memorial Funeral Service was held in her honor on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Saint Mary's Catholic Parish with Father Garrett Nelson officiating. Friends and family also joined via Facebook Live. Marge was born on December 10, 1946, in Ada, MN. She was the daughter of Maurice & Clementine (Riepe) Brommenschenkel. She received her education in cosmetology and was a graduate of the Ada High School Class of 1964. On February 6, 1965 Marge was united in holy matrimony to John Blasey, at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish in Ada, MN. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Christine Mae (Blasey) Mayne, Rebecca Jane (Blasey) Keith, John Charles Blasey, & Billy Joe Blasey. Marge & John resided in Ada, MN operating their dairy farm. They later moved to Livingston Montana in 1987. They shared 56 years in a loving and caring marriage. Marge was a woman of many talents. She was an entrepreneur in the machine knitting industry. She conducted classes and demonstrations at machine knitting seminars throughout the U.S. and published several pattern books. She also worked for Wells Fargo in Livingston, Montana and retired in 2010. Marge enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She especially loved crafting, holding tea parties and baking with her grandchildren. She was active in the Ada and Livingston Catholic Church. Marge enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Livingston Quilt Guild. Blessed be her memory. Marge is survived by her devoted husband, John Blasey, of Livingston, Montana; daughter, Christine Mayne and her husband, Gerald Mayne, of Francis, UT; daughter, Rebecca Keith and her husband Brent Keith of Pfafftown, NC; son, John (Chuck) Blasey and his wife, Jessica Blasey, of Fairbanks, AK; and son, Billy Blasey of Long Beach, CA.Grandchildren: Jerald Mayne, Derrick Keith, Jack Mayne, Kaleb Keith, Sheridan Blasey and Hadley Blasey. Siblings: Kathleen Wagner and her husband Jim; Theresa Pennant and her husband Jack; Mary Cirks and her husband Richard; Loretta Tastad and her husband Ronald; Elizabeth Johnson and her husband Mark; Theodore Brommenschenkel and his wife Dawn; Annette Anderson and her husband Kurt; and Benita Kennedy and her husband Fred; many other relatives and friends.
