Marie Adele Venable

Marie Adele (Desmarais) Venable passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 102, at Caslen Living Center in Livingston.  Marie was born April 17, 1920, to Eucher Joseph Desmarais and Adele Anna (Feyder) Desmarais.

Marie grew up in, and went to school in Billings, Montana but often came to Livingston to visit and stay with her grandparents. She married John Venable in Livingston in July of 1939.  Marie and John were married for 61 years, until John died in May of 2000. Marie was an avid quilter, enjoyed gardening with John at the house on tenth street. She was a wonderful mother and so enjoyed her grandchildren.

As Mary was blessed with many years, she was preceded in death by most everyone, including her grandsons, Justin and Nicholas and a great-grandson, Lee.

She is survived by her son, George Venable (Sue); her daughter, Roxanne Goff (Carl); her son, Thomas Venable (Diane), and her son, William Venable (Merle).  She also has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside blessing in honor of Marie will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Friday, August 12th at 10:00 AM.  We will gather at the cemetery for committal services.
