Mark Stephen Miller, 59, of Livingston, Montana passed away suddenly of natural causes on Monday, April 27, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday May 2, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Livingston. Graveside committal and burial will follow at Park View Memorial Gardens in Paradise Valley. Fellowship will follow the interment at Grace United Methodist Church, 302 S 9th St. Mark was born on November 19, 1955, in Townsend, Montana. He was the son of Carl Warren and Jackie (Cherry) Miller. He received his education in Billings and attended the Billings Senior High School. Mark entered active military service in the United States NAVY on November 11, 1972, and served his country on the USS St. Louis located in San Pedro, CA. He was an Infantryman, served on the Guns Crew and a Fireman. He received an Honorable Discharge on November 19, 1978. Mark had attained the Rank of Seaman First Class. After exiting the Navy Mark was diagnosed disabled. He lived in Billings for a year he then moved to Livingston in 1979. He has made this his home ever since. Mark was a tender hearted man with a strong Catholic Faith. He enjoyed taking in the beautiful Montana summer weather on his patio, riding his bike around town and watching old time movies. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mark will be remembered for his polite demeanor and always brightening the day of those he interacted with. Blessed be his memory. Mark is survived by his: Life Partner of 30 years, Alberta Marble of Livingston. Daughter, Candi Gartside of Livingston and her son, Jacob Gartside. Siblings, Carl Miller and his wife, Brenda of Chippewa Falls, WI; Richard Miller and his wife, Sherry of Dickenson, ND; Nancy Hall and her husband, Charles of Florida; Chris Miller and his wife, Susan of Tulsa, OK; Tammy Miller of Billings. Longtime friend, Rocky Peterson of Billings Many other relatives and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his Parents, Carl Miller and Jackie Cherry, also a brother John in infancy. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
