Marshall John Engstrom

Marshall J. Engstrom, 95, of Livingston, Montana died Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Livingston HealthCare Hospital. In accordance with his wishes, Marshall was cremated and his cremated remains will be interred in the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery in Miles City, MT, on Monday, September 14, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at the Eastern Montana Veteran's Cemetery. Mr. Engstrom, who endured the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, is survived by his son, Neil Engstrom and his wife Kris of Lincoln, Nebraska; a sister, Pat Kelly of Galena, Illinois, and various nieces and nephews including, locally, Ted Williams and his wife Sandy and Karen Williams and her husband Leslie. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Gladys Matzen Engstrom, in 2001 and his second, Carol Melanson Johnson Engstrom, in 2014. A noble, honorable man, Mr. Engstrom lived an exemplary life and is greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
