Martha R. Webb

Martha R. Webb, 83, of Livingston, passed away suddenly, of natural causes on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Billings Clinic Hospital. The family is hosting a memorial gathering in honor of Martha beginning at 5:00 P.M., on Wednesday, April 28, at the Franzen-Davis Chapel, (118 North 3rd St - Livingston,) you are invited to come share stories, share in refreshments, and support one another with love.Martha was born on December 12, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of Ella and Raymond Robinson. Martha met Harold Webb and they were married in September of 1959. They were deeply passionate about figure skating, and performed together in Ice shows and competitions. Martha found much joy in that period of her life. They would go on to start their family with the birth of a son, Greg, and four years later, another son, Brian. Harold passed away while the boys were very young. Martha raised two wonderful sons. She was strong, "the strongest mom on the planet," per Brian. She was family. Our leader, our biggest supporter, and an amazing example of a strong, proud woman.Martha met another wonderful man, Ed Snarey, and together they began a new chapter in both their lives. Ed took on the responsibility of raising two boys and his influence made them the men they are today. After Greg and Brian began their adult lives, Martha and Ed bought a home, and enjoyed life together until Ed's passing three years ago. In her spare time, Martha enjoyed quilting, through which she has left a legacy of warmth for her family. She partook in bridge club back in Pittsburgh for forty plus years, and she never gave up ice skating. She was with the grandkids, skating, just this past winter. We are blessed to have had such an amazing woman in our lives. Her love will fill our hearts forever and we will forever miss her.Martha is survived by her son Greg Webb and his wife Sara, their children, Oliver and Hazel of Livingston, and her son Brian Webb and his wife Shanna and their daughter Sylvan of Livingston. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Mulkearn of Finley Lake, NY and Harold's daughter, sister to Greg and Brian, Debra Kolonay of Pittsburgh, PA.Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Webb; her life partner, Ed Snarey; sister Mary Falcik; and brother-in-law, Ed Mulkearn.
