Martin Allen Tino Parisi

February 15, 1929 — July 10, 2015

Martin Allen "Tino" Parisi, 86, Lifelong Livingston, Montana resident, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at Spring Creek Inn in Bozeman only four weeks after the love of his life Sharen passed. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. A Graveside Memorial Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday July 18. We will meet at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and proceed to the cemetery. The graveside committal and burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Veteran's Honors will be provided by the American Legion Park Post #23 and Sergeant Tommy Ray V.F.W. Post # 2154 and the Army Active Duty Honors Team. A social gathering will follow the service at the American Legion, 112 N B Street; Livingston. Tino was born on February 15, 1929, in Livingston, Montana. He was the son of Marco and Natalina (Indendi) Parisi. He received his education in Livingston. Tino entered active military service in the United States Army on May 3rd, 1951 in Butte, MT. He took his training at Fort Belvoir, VA then shipped out to Korea from Fort Lewis, WA. He served his country during the Korean Conflict. Tino was in the Engineering Division, building bridges and structures during his service in Korea. He received an Honorable Discharge on April 16th, 1953 having earned the rank of Corporal and the Korean Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. Tino then transferred to the Army Reserve for a five year stint serving out of Livingston. On June 14, 1968, Tino was united in marriage to Sharen Lee Thompson. This marriage was blessed with daughter, Peggy. Tino and Sharen resided in Livingston their entire lives. They shared 47 years of marriage. Tino was employed with the Northern Pacific Railroad at the Livingston Depot. He was employed as a section laborer. He retired early as the result of a disability. Tino enjoyed everything out-doors. He was a hunter, a fisherman and an off-road enthusiast. Tino would take his jeep up to mountain peaks to bring snow down for a snowball fight on the Fourth of July. He had a garage that had every tool and machine, nut, bolt and screw you could ever need. Known as "Tinos Garage", if you were looking for him you didnt bother going to the house. He was a talented woodworker building furniture and anything friends and family needed. He could look at a photo and build what was pictured to spec. He was an excellent cook, kept a fridge full of cold beers and enjoyed shooting the breeze with all who would stop by. Blessed be his memory. Tino is survived by his: Grandsons, TJ IronBear of Great Falls, his children: Finley and Willa; Guy Seely of Belgrade, his son Julian; and Cody Seely and his wife Kallie Larson of Havre, their children: Talan and Maci. Son, David Mohr. Siblings, Adeline Swan, Manuella "Mickey" Roberts, his Twin Brother, Marco Parisi all of Livingston, Geraldine Stoneman of Seattle, WA. Sister-in-law, Florence Brenner of Painesville, OH. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Tino is preceded in death by his Parents, Marco and Natalina Parisi, his daughter, Peggy Parisi and loving Wife, Sharen who has passed away only four weeks prior to Tino. Siblings, Tony Parisi, Evelyn Clafflin, Jenny Shall, John Parisi, Virginia Mohr and Carolyn DAlbertine. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory.
