June 15, 1941 — January 1, 2016

Mary Ann Meyer, 74, of Livingston, Montana, passed away on Friday, January 1st, 2016 at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital with her loving family at her side. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 6th, 2:00 P.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Livingston. Coffee and cake fellowship will follow Mass in the school gymnasium. Memorials are preferred to: Stafford Animal Shelter- the "Rosie Fund" (aiding animal care when funds are otherwise unavailable), www.staffordanimalshelter.org 222-2111, or United in Light Draft Horse Rescue Ranch, www.draftrescue.com 222-7982; both in: Livingston, MT, 59047. Mary Ann was born on June 15th, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the only daughter of M. James and Doris (Schuler) Kellner. She received her education in Milwaukee attending Holy Angels Parochial School and was a graduate of the Messmer High School Class of 1959. She continued her studies and furthered her love of the arts at Layton School of Art in Milwaukee. Mary Ann and Bob Meyer attended school together and began dating following graduation. On May 3rd, 1961, Mary Ann Kellner was united in marriage to Robert Meyer in Milwaukee. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Mandy, Dan, Kevin, Brian and Melissa. They began their family living in the greater Milwaukee area later moving to Sun Prairie, WI. In 1996 they relocated to the Livingston, Montana area. Mary Ann and Bob shared 54 years of marriage, support and memories together. Of her many gifts and attributes was her talent in music and as an artist. She had perfect pitch and rhythm, preferred the medium of watercolor for her painting and had the vision to "see" what was missing in her paintings. She had a calm, logical, approach to life that aided her to advise her children to live life following the kindest path. She raised her kids with the unique ability to see matters from the perspective of a mother and of a father. She had a God given gift to teach, which she did much of with her family; her children could harmonize at age three and the grandchildren gathered every Sunday at noon for art class. She was, in every sense, "the wind beneath her familys wings" giving her support and guidance, always. Her logic was very respected by Bob, if an idea sounded off to her, that opinion was the one that Bob knew had garnered the most rationality. Her family was number one in her life. She not only doted over her grandchildren but was constantly helping to raise and encourage them. A woman of many gifts, who loved so deeply and was loved so much Blessed be her memory. Mary Ann is survived by her: Loving husband of 54 years, Bob. Children and grandchildren, daughter, Mandy Meyer and her husband Scott McGlinchey of New Orleans, LA; son, Dan Meyer and his wife, Diane of Livingston, their children, Sara Arthun and her husband Cole, Mariah and Paul Meyer; son, Kevin Meyer of Livingston; son, Brian Meyer and his wife, Gretchen of Livingston, and their son, Tom Meyer and his wife Aynslee; daughter, Melissa Meyer of Livingston, and her children, Molly Traynor, her children (great-grandchildren), Ryan, Ryley, Ronan and Kasper, and her husband Ryan Traynor, and Claire and Robert Meyer-Wisneski.
