Misty Ann Barton, 52 of Livingston, passed away unexpectedly at her home on May 7, 2015. Cremation will take place and private family services will be held. Misty was born in Martinez, Calif., on June 4, 1962, the daughter of Larry Barton and Paula (Welch) Barton. The family lived in California until Misty made the move to Livingston, MT in the early 1980s. She attended MSU and later graduated with a degree in Womens Studies in 1998. Out of college, Misty worked for the Department of Transportation for a short time until a work related injury led her to become a full-time homemaker. Misty was blessed with 3 children Nacoma Barton, Nathaniel Ousley, and Dane Bondurant. Misty greatly enjoyed cooking. She did catering for friends and family and dreamed of pursuing a career as a Gourmet Chef and Caterer. Her son Nathaniel would follow in her footsteps and become successful as a chef, before his passing. She was proud of his as well as her daughter Nacoma, who was the Deputy Clerk of Court in Park County at the time of her passing, and her son Dane who has a career in Gold Mining and Exploration Drilling. She loved gardening and was "one with the earth", taking great pride in the things she planted and grew in her gardens, including her flowers, vegetables and herbs. She was talented in jewelry making and enjoyed the handiwork and detail of her jewelry. Misty is survived by her son Dane Bondurant and his wife Melissa of Clyde Park, MT; mother and step-father Paula and Roger Clemens of Sentinel Butte, ND; sisters Deborah VreNon and Dawn Barton; and grandsons Danyk Jacobsen and Eastyn Bondurant. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nacoma; her son Nathaniel; and her father Larry. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
