Nancy was an artistic individual, and her creativity showed itself in a number of ways throughout her life: Nancy was known for her beautiful tole painting, at one point having an ornament she painted displayed on the White House Christmas tree. She was a passionate quilter, an oil painter, and enjoyed using her creativity to decorate her bed and breakfast, the Gibson-Cassidy House in Clyde Park. Nancy also adored her animal companions, including orange tabby cat Julius and her beloved English Springer Spaniel, Gunna.
Nancy was proceeded in death by her father, Darwin and her mother, Edna; as well as sisters, Phyliss, Patty, and Nina; and brother, Lesley. She is survived by son, Jamie and wife, Lisa Gilbert and grandchildren John Cody and Trace; as well as daughter, Audra Hoskins and her husband, Shawn and grandchildren Wyatt, Cole, Sophi, and Morgan Fairchild, step-granddaughter, Brooklyn Hoskins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
