Nevaeh Jenavieve Kunnemann, at the age of 12, died suddenly from injuries sustained in an accident on Sunday October 22, 2017. Nevaeh was born on June 8, 2005 in Portland, Oregon. Neveah moved to Montana in 2008. Nevaeh attended Sleeping Giant Middle School where she participated in L'esprit, science, art and homework clubs. Nevaeh regularly attended services at Living Hope Church on Sundays, Awana and then youth group. Nevaeh had a joyful and kind spirit. Many younger children and babies were nurtured by Nevaeh, especially her siblings, cousins and the children at Awana where she volunteered. She spent time with her great grandma decorating the front yard with ornaments and bird houses. Nevaeh expressed her creative flare through her fashion and works of art. She enjoyed outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, camping and horseback riding. Nevaeh studied science and was concerned with conservation. She researched aquaponics and anticipated growing a garden. Neveahs motto was, "I refuse to not try, even if I fail because the only way I fail is by not trying at all." Nevaeh is survived by her parents, Collette and Andrew Smith, her brothers and sisters, great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, a large extended family, Living Hope Church community and friends. A celebration of Nevaehs life was held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday October 28, 2017 hosted at American Lutheran Church, 129 S F St, Livingston. Shad Durgan, Nevaehs pastor, of Living Hope Church will be the celebrant. A reception will follow the service at American Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Bruffey Cemetery at Mission Creek.
