Patricia Ann McPherson, 76, of Livingston, Montana, passed away at her home Monday, November 2, 2020, with her loved ones by her side. Pat was born July 4, 1944, in Gordon, Nebraska, to Richard and Mildred Sager. Her family later moved to Martin, South Dakota. Her teenage years were spent enjoying the music of the day and waiting tables at a local cafe. Her life changed dramatically in 1962 when she met and then married Roadel McPherson, the son of a cattle rancher. She adjusted to the rural life, had her first son, and in 1962 embarked on the adventure that brought her to the Goat Mountain Ranch north of Wilsall, Montana. The challenges of mountain life were met with the blessings of two more children and an amazing group of friends. She embraced this life and motherhood and became a great cook for her family, ranch hands and anyone that might stop by. Pat didn't shy away from hard work and could often be seen working cattle and putting up hay alongside Roadel. In the late 80's, she and Roadel moved to Livingston, where she worked at Century 21 Realty and later as Bar Manager at the Livingston Country Club. Pat loved playing golf until she retired and then created a back yard sanctuary that was always filled with beautiful flowers and birds. Her favorite times were spent there, surrounded by her family, good friends and food, and the non-stop laughter, often so intense that tears would run down your leg. Early on, Pat received the nickname 'Mama Pat'. Her home was a safe place where everyone was welcome and her loving heart was a beacon for so many of her 'other kids' throughout the years. Pat is survived by her faithful Maltese, Noah, her dearest brother, Mike (Tammy) Sager, her sons Rocky and Roger McPherson of Livingston, daughter Teresa (Greg) Parks of Livingston, grandsons Levi (Kari) Rockhill, Riley (Mariah) Rockhill, Nash Parks and great granddaughters Reese and Reagan Rockhill. Thank you to all of Mom's wonderful friends. You know who you are, and you meant the world to her. In accordance with Pats wishes, there will be no services at this time. Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements. We love you mom! Oooodles and Boooodles!
