Randall Brett McQuay, 72, of Livingston, Montana, passed away February 23, 2021, at his home. Randy was born on April 23, in 1948, the son of Warren and Phyllis McQuay. He received his education in Livingston, Montana, excelling in high school sports. He then went on to Montana State University in Bozeman as a student-athlete, competing in football and basketball. Randy lived his life in Livingston, working for the railroad in his younger years. Later, he took care of his mother in their home in Livingston. He was an avid golfer and pool shark. Randy is survived by his mother, Phyllis McQuay, of Livingston, MT; his daughter, Melanie Michaels, of Boise, ID, and her 4 children, Jacob, Isabelle, Korbin, and Luke; his beloved dog, Reggie, and cat, Narnia, both of whom were adopted after his passing; and many other relatives and friends. Randy is preceded in death by his father, Warren McQuay; sister, Michelle; and wife Julie. Cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Gathering in Randy's honor will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021, starting at 11:00 A.M., at Sacajawea Park in Livingston.
