Robert F. Eyman

Robert Franklin Eyman, born June 1, 1929, passed away January 1, 2025, at the age of 95.

Bob was born in Livingston to Elsie and Harvey Eyman. He lived in the Shields Valley since 1974, after serving in the US Army for 22 years, retiring as a Full Colonel. 

Bob graduated from Park High in 1947, Montana State College in 1952 with a BA in Ag Engineering, and from Shippensburg College PA with a Masters in Public Administration. He used this education to help the community he loved. He served on the Livingston Memorial Hospital Board, Friends of the Library, Park Electric Coop Board, Intermountain Children’s Home Board, the Farm Bureau, the Lower Shields River Canal Company and was active in many other groups.

Bob was always up for a rousing game of Bridge!! He was a jack of all trades, remodeling the home his father built back in the 1940’s. He was always willing to help his fellow man, an active member in Holbrook United Methodist Church. His love of his family was the most important thing in his life, and faith in God always led his path. 

Bob had two siblings, Don Eyman, who is deceased and Katie Spiroff. He leaves behind his wife of 70+ years, Loraine Cady Rosemary Eyman, two children Bill (Gay) Eyman and Cheryl (Roger) Sitton. Grandchildren: Signe, Shanen (deceased), Salem, Jules and Kendra Eyman, Stephen (Anastasia) Sitton,  Michael (Rachel) Sitton and Kristen (Jesse) Burciaga; He is further survived by seven great grandchildren Jameson, Eveah, Emma, Anni, Xavier, Axel and Maxwell.

Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Holbrook United Methodist Church, 424 Lewis Street, Livingston, Montana.  Services will conclude at the church.
