Livingston

Lifelong Livingston resident, Ronald M. Percival died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Livingston Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle of prostate cancer. He was 85 years old.

Ronald was born on September 14, 1939 at Lott Hospital in Livingston to the late Mitchell R. and Ruby Meigs Tonsager Percival. Ron was a graduate of Park High School. He went on the serve in the U.S. Army being honorably discharged in 1967. During his working life he work at sawmills for Dollarhide and Waylander until he suffered a back injury disabling him.

Ron loved to hunt, fish and spending time with his many friends.

Survivors include is dear cousin, Helen Poore and additional cousin, Jack Percival; his beloved friends, Cheryl and Scott Kautzman and Scott McNeil. He is further survived by one son Bruce Nelson.

Along with his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his half-brother, Leroy V. Meigs; sisters, Sadra and Mitzi; and one brother, Jerry Percival.

Ron, you will be missed. We love you.

A graveside military service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9th at Mt. View Cemetery in Livingston. A reception will be held immediately following at the American Legion Post No. 23 in Livingston.
