Ronnie Myers, 57, of Livingston, Montana, passed away Monday, July 17th, 2017 at the Milky Way Counterpoint Group Home. A celebration of Ronnie will be held at 2:00P.M., on Friday, July 28th, at the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home (118 N 3rd St.) Graveside committal and burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery. Ronnie was born on July 29th, 1959 in Washington State. He was born the son of Hazel Myers. At one week of age he was placed into foster care; at age one month he was relocated to Warm Springs State Hospital. Ronnie lived at Warm Springs until he was four years old. In 1963 Ronnie was transferred to the Boulder River School and Hospital, now the Montana Developmental Center. Ronnie remained there until December in 1979, when he moved to Livingston where he has spent the remainder of his life. Ronnie loved music; this may have been his biggest passion. He particularly enjoyed rock and roll with a throbbing beat. He also loved to ski at Bridger Bowl with assistance from the Eagle Mount ski program. He skied for 25 years and became quite skilled at and thoroughly enjoyed going fast. He was an adventurist who enjoyed camping, floating the Yellowstone and was an avid Special Olympian. Ronnie valued the friendships and close bond that he had with his Counterpoint family. He loved, and was loved by those who knew and spent time with him. Ronnie was employed delivering papers for the Livingston Enterprise for ten years. He took great pride in his work and in the friends he made while delivering papers. Ronnie was a warm, gentle soul, a loving and good man. He will be sorely missed by is many friends and his Counterpoint family.
