Sharon (Hall) Johnson

October 5, 1948 — February 19, 2019

Sharon Louise (Hall) Johnson, of Clyde Park, Montana passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019. Sharon was 70 years old.Sharon was born to Frances Bud and Ruth Hall on October 5, 1948. She and her older sister Emily (Herbert) and younger sister Robin grew up in Youngstown, Ohio. After High School, Sharon moved to South Dakota, married Gene Winter and welcomed daughter Vicki in 1969. After divorcing, Sharon attended The School of Mines. She found love again in 1983 with Larry Johnson of Clyde Park. They were married in 1984 and enjoyed 34 years of marriage, some spent in Las Vegas, then mostly in Clyde Park.Passions for Sharon were singing and traveling with a band in the 70s and 80s. Everyday started with a NY Times Crossword. Always quick witted, she could get anyone to laugh. Working at Clyde Park Tavern she met many, many people, so many of whom have expressed their grief with us.She leaves behind her treasured husband, Larry Johnson of Clyde Park; daughter, Vicki Parrish (Winter) of Helena; step-son, Trent Johnson and his daughters, Teslin and Tori Johnson, all of Clyde Park, her loving cat, Smitty, and a large extended family in Ohio, including her sister, Jennifer Hall, who was very special to her. Sharon is preceded in death by her sister, Robin, her parents and step-son, Justin Johnson.Sharon will be remembered for her laugh and loving nature. We are deeply saddened but look forward to hearing stories of her gregariousness. She will be tremendously missed. Currently, the family is planning for a memorial in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stafford Animal Shelter (3 Business Park Rd, Livingston, MT 59047) would have made Sharon extremely happy.Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
