In Loving Memory

Susan Pat Walton

Born on March 17th, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Barbara and Franklin Gallinat, Suzie passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family in Gardiner, Montana on Monday, October 17th, 2022.

Suzie is joining her beloved husband Timothy Walton, mother Barbara Gallinat, and Father Franklin Gallinat in eternal paradise.  Her memory will be cherished by her two daughters, Jayme and Jarrett Kremer of Gardiner, MT and Katie Walton of Post Falls, ID, her grandchild Allison Kremer, her brother Theodore (Pam) and sisters Cindy (Don) Gallinat, Mary Beth (Mike) Eimers, Kim (Jamie) Benko, and Linda (Charlie) Anderson, her brother in law Mike (Regina) Walton, sisters in law Cathie (Thom) Creely and Carol Walton, as well as a host of dearly loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Suzie, although young, lived a life full of great joy and overcame many hardships.  She was the perfect image of remaining positive in the face of adversity, a fighter’s spirit with a caring and kind heart.  Suzie wanted to leave this Earth a better place than when she entered it, and she touched every person that had the joy of meeting her.  A loving, generous, and loyal person, Suzie knew that a prosperous life has nothing to do with money or wealth, but all to do with sharing her love and light with those around her.  Her cup overflowed with the smiles she put on the faces of others.

Suzie graduated from Garden City High School in 1980, and shortly after took a position at McKesson Medical Surgical.  An extremely hard worker, she grew with McKesson for over 35 years and became a highly valued member of the company.  She was very passionate about her career, and it was one of the greatest accomplishments of her life.  Her coworkers, bosses, team members and employees would often be described by Suzie as her second family, and she truly enjoyed her time there.

Suzie was a deeply loved mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a devoted and affectionate Grandma “Nama” to 15-month-old Allison Kremer, with another grandchild soon to follow this January that she was equally devoted to.  She was a religious woman and found great enjoyment when saying her daily rosary.  She was very proud of her daughter Katie, soon to be a Carmelite Nun.  She found true fulfillment when volunteering at the local church and American Legion.  Suzie valued family above all else and put them first for the entirety of her life.  May we always remember the joy she would bring when entering any room. “In loving you, we are gifted with memories that can never die.”
