Tavis Reynolds

Tavis Herbert Reynolds, 59, of Livingston passed away from natural causes at his home on December 13, 2023.

Tavis was born August 19, 1964, to Lewis Willard Reynolds and Jean Isabel Reynolds (née Kirkness) at St. James Hospital in Butte, MT. He is survived by his daughter Sabrina (Duncan) Anderson of Belgrade, MT, stepdaughter Allannah Sanderson of Oregon, brother David (Sandra) Reynolds of Boulder, MT, niece Heather Reynolds of Belgrade, MT, nephew Dustin Reynolds of Dayton, MT, and countless friends who became chosen family. He is preceded in death by his father Lewis Reynolds, mother Jean Reynolds, sister Deborah Reynolds, sister Heather Ink (née Reynolds), and brother Malcolm Reynolds.

A true Montana man, Tavis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his many dog companions. He was a car guy in every sense of the term. An auto mechanic by trade, he loved classics and was helping Sabrina restore a 1969 VW Beetle. Tavis had a wicked sense of humor and rarely met someone he couldn’t make laugh with a raucous story. He instilled a love of classic cars, animals, music and so much more to Sabrina and Allannah while raising them in Bozeman.

A private service is planned for family and close friends at a later date, more information to come.
