Thomas "Tom" Meredith, 64 of Livingston, formerly of Forsyth, MT, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 6, 2015. A private Memorial Celebration will be held on Tuesday, February 10. Tom was born in Forsyth on April 19, 1950 to Robert and Annette (Newman) Meredith, Jr. Tom graduated from Forsyth High School, and attended Jamestown College in North Dakota. He later joined the Navy as a Seabee. He was working with the Seabees in Moscow, Russia following an Embassy fire in 1978, where he met his future wife Vicki Thomas, who was working at the American Embassy there. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1978, and Tom and Vicki were married in Seattle, WA on September 8, 1979. Tom and Vicki raised their two sons overseas, while working at U.S. embassies in 11 different countries. In 2013, they retired to Livingston. Tom is survived by his wife Vicki Meredith of Livingston; sons Alex and Tyler, both of Seattle; brother Jim (MaryJo) Meredith of Livingston; brother Ron (Linda) Meredith of Oregon; and sister Jane (Jay) Alberda of Platte, SD; as well as nieces and nephews. Toms parents preceded him in death. Arrangements are under the direction of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
