Thomas Garland James Romans, 38, of Livingston, Montana passed away on September 19th, 2015 where he dreamed of building a cabin one day, on his familys property up Mill Creek. His sudden departure grieves us deeply and we hold fast that he is now at peace. Thomas lost his battle with anxiety and depression; his deepest desire would be for everyone to support others who are affected by this disease. A lifetime Livingston native, he was born to Kester and Barbara Romans on December 3rd, 1976. Growing up the leader of four boys, his brothers were and remain his best friends. It would be tough to find a tighter family. His fondest childhood memories began with his beloved Grandma Carmel and his namesake, Uncle Tommy. We trust that their souls have reunited. His father taught him about the mountains; his mothers kindness and devotion to family made him the man that he was. He found a sweet lass from Texas and married her on August 10th, 1996. Right away they had three, beautiful daughters who captured the hearts of this community. Nobody could doubt the love that Thomas had for his family and the gifts he bestowed to them. He worked extremely hard as a Master Plumber to support his family and you could find Doggie Tom spinning tunes on the weekends. He loved sharing music. Community was extremely important to him which was apparent when he served on the City Commission, assisted in building McNair Skate Park and Pompeys Playground, renovating The Shane Center, always volunteering at fundraisers, etc. His loss will be felt. He is survived by his wife, Carol Anne Romans; his daughters, Abigail, Gabrielle, and Emily Romans; his parents, Kester Clyde and Barbara Romans; his brothers, Kevin, Jonathan, and Andy Romans; and his Grandfather, Gerald Johnson. Also numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and many special friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Clyde Romans; his Grandmothers, Carmel Romans and Janie Johnson; Uncle Tom "Think Big" Romans; and his Aunt Clara Romans Erskine. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, September 24th at The Shane Center from 5-7 pm. Thomas loved the stars. Look at them and think of him. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
