Toby was born on November 20th, 1959, in Livingston, Montana. He was the son of Ted and Deanna (Ebert) Egeland. From an early age Toby knew adversity. He had open-heart surgery in his first year and saw the doctor about every other day. He was a spirited and rambunctious kid; he had received his fair share of bumps and bruises. He and a couple of his nephews could often be found hanging out and having a good time together camping, playing video games or driving around. He received his education in Livingston and was a graduate of the Park Senior High School Class of 1980. He began a career in 1984 at Livingston Memorial Hospital with environmental services. This is where he met the love of his life and partner in crime, Jackie. On October 21st, 2000, Toby was united in marriage to Helen Jackie Byrne, at American Lutheran Church in Livingston. He was blessed to have had his mother officiate their marriage. They shared 16 years together. Fellow co-workers knew that you needed to watch out for Toby, as he was quite the prankster. You might find rocks in your pockets, you may be missing something from your pocket, or you might end up with a fish in your car. All was meant in the best of humor though. He loved to "cruise" the drag, loud music and windows of his car down. He would net pigeons to raise in his coop. He also loved to camp and fish just being outdoors some of his favorite places to fish were Ennis lake and the Yellowstone River. Blessed be his memory.Toby is survived by his: Wife, Jackie.
