Twila Fae Vance, 74, currently residing in Livingston, Montana, formerly of Evergreen, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at Frontier Assisted Living in Livingston.Twila was born on August the 13th, 1944. She was the first born to Joseph and Coral (Grew) Kubalek. Twila was raised in Nebraska and Kansas. She became a beautician following her graduation from high school. She would go on to marry John Vance while residing in Nebraska. She opened and operated her own beauty shop in Crete, NE. They began their family with the birth of Rachelle, then Mark and Christine. Following Christines birth, the family moved to Colorado, they lived in a suburb of Denver. She and John operated a Western Wear Store, she ran a beauty shop and once Christine began school Twila took a job working with the Jefferson County School District. She eventually retired from that position. Twila had been living in a retirement community in Evergreen, CO. Christine moved her mom near her so she could assist with her care and be near to her mom.She had many dear friends in Colorado and was a devoted E.M.T. with the Fire Department and Ambulance service. She would earn the rank of Captain, being the first woman in her department to achieve that rank.She is survived by her daughters, Rachelle (Zane Phillips) Vance and Christine Jarrett; grandchildren, Bremen (Kate) Vance and their son, Oliver; and Michael Phillips; Jessica Jarrett and her daughter, Jade; Justin Jarrett; and Megan Vance and her mother, Barbara Vance; sisters, Joanne and Terry.Twila was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Coral Kubalek; her son, Mark; son-in-law Brad Young and the father of Twilas children, John Vance.Per Twilas final wishes the family will hold a private remembrance in her honor.
