Violet Faye Ammerman, 83, of Livingston, MT, passed away January 15, 2022. Faye was what she preferred to be called. If you called her Violet she sometimes wouldn't answer as she had always been called Faye.
She was born to Thomas W. Munro and Violet H. Busby on April 30, 1938. Faye graduated from Park High and later married Ralph E. Ammerman. They were blessed with one son, Lee W. Ammerman. They resided in Park County and shared 36 years of marriage.
Faye worked for First Interstate Bank for many years off and on, and also worked at the Murray Hotel. When she retired, she spent her days sewing and baking. She was a good cook, and enjoyed doing puzzles and quilting with all her friends at Beaver Creek Community Hall. Faye also liked going for drives around Park County and having picnics. She enjoyed being with family and friends. Faye was an independent and strong person, living alone at her home right up to her passing.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; siblings, Thomas Munro, Jr., Dale Munro, Donna Ragsdale, Bertha Dodge, and Erma Dodge; and a nephew. Tim Munro. She is survived by her son, Lee (Leslie) W. Ammerman; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Jack Munro; and many nieces and nephews. Faye will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Parkview Memorial Gardens, after which all are invited to a reception at the Beaver Creek Community Hall. . Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
