Wesley Dale Dunlap, 70, of Burlington, Iowa died at 3:55 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at Great River Medical Center - Klein Center. The funeral service for Mr. Dunlap will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 14th, at Living Hope Church in Livingston. The Rev. Harlan Durgan will officiate. Visitation will be held at Franzen-Davis Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Livingston. Memorials have been established for Living Hope Community Church or charity of the donor's choice. Born May 22, 1944 in Livingston, Montana, he was the son of Stuart James and Zeetta Louise (Smith) Dunlap. On May 6, 1967 he married Tanya Mae Young in Livingston. Mr. Dunlap was a 1963 graduate of Park High School in Livingston. He moved to Burlington with his family in 1986 with BNSF. He retired in 2004 as an assistant store foreman. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Tanya Dunlap of Burlington; two sons, Michael D. Dunlap of Burlington and Cory W. Dunlap of Danville; four grandchildren, Sladen Dunlap, Nakodah Dunlap, Ian Dunlap and Evan Dunlap; two brothers, Stuart J. (Barb) Dunlap Jr. and Donald D. Dunlap both of Livingston and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
