Zachary David Nelson, 38, a lifelong Livingston resident, passed away Jan. 12, 2022 from unexpected complications from a spinal cord injury. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, 1 P.M. at the Livingston Christian Center. A Potluck reception will follow at the church. If you can bring something to share, please contact Grace at 406-220-3086.Zach was an amazing mechanic and hard-working carpenter who was putting together a home for his family when he fell from the roof.Zach was born on May 24, 1983, to Jim and Linda Nelson. He was a State Champion wrestler and a skilled baseball player. He loved the outdoors and everything power sports related. He was a problem solver who often took on unwanted projects at work and around the house. He took every challenge head on, with dignity and strength.His favorite times were spent with his fiancée, Grace, son Balian and his best companion, Cruiser, whether it was on the river, hiking or watching movies. He was a very good friend, and his close friendships meant the world to him. He will be dearly missed forever and always by his friends, family and anyone who knew him.Zach was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Majorie George, Lou and Donna Nelson; uncle, Fred George; and cousin, Frankie George.Zach is survived by his parents, Jim Nelson and Linda George; brothers, Luke and Seth Nelson; sister, Haley (Tanner) Aasheim; fiancée, Grace Beers; son, Balian; nieces, Madison and Mackenzie; nephews, Lincoln and Jax; uncles, Jeff (Reeda) George, Jack George, Mike George, Roger Nelson, and Bryan Nelson; aunts, Faye Adams; cousins, Melissa Adams, Megan Adams, Colby George, Courtney (Justin) Bishop, Kayla George, Nick (Leslie) George, Shannon (Benji) Effeinback, Sarah (Tyler) Bennett, Caitlin (Rian) Vaughn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
